Since leaving office, however, Lai Mohammed has adopted a more reserved public posture. Despite this, he remains a key figure within the All Progressives Congress (APC). Sources within the party indicate that he continues to contribute behind the scenes, offering strategic input on policy matters and political direction.
Political observers emphasize that his reduced media presence does not imply inactivity. He is still occasionally spotted at party events and high-level engagements, with reports also suggesting involvement in international advisory and policy-related roles.
