Organisers of the popular reality television show, Big Brother Naija, have announced that auditions for the 11th season will commence later this month.
The audition exercise will be conducted physically in selected cities across Nigeria, marking a return to the show’s traditional in-person screening format.
According to information released on the organisers’ Instagram page, registration for interested contestants will open from May 16 and close on May 20. Only applicants who successfully complete the registration process within the specified period will qualify for the next stage of selection.
The organisers also clarified that participation in the audition process is completely free.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old and present a valid means of identification before they can be considered eligible for the competition.
They further disclosed that available slots are limited, warning that the registration portal could shut down earlier than expected once the maximum number of applications has been received.
Successful applicants will receive confirmation emails inviting them to attend the physical auditions scheduled to hold between May 22 and May 24 in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu.
The decision to return to physical auditions comes after several seasons of online and hybrid screenings introduced to accommodate participants from different locations.
The most recent edition of the reality show was won by Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, who defeated 28 housemates to claim the ₦150 million grand prize on October 5, 2025.
