Nigerian comedian I Go Save has spoken out against rising insecurity in the country, criticising First Ladies across Nigeria for what he described as silence over the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State.
In a post shared via his Instagram story, the comedian expressed deep anger over the continued captivity of the victims, questioning why influential women in leadership positions have not publicly condemned the incident or pushed for stronger action.
He said the ongoing silence from leaders and “mothers in power” worsens the pain of affected families and called for urgent steps to secure the release of the abducted pupils and teachers.
In his words, he wrote:
“Where are all the First Ladies in this country? Are you people true mothers? How do you all sleep at night knowing these innocent kids are still in captivity and being dehumanized? Your behaviors are making the devil look like a good man. Speak up, act and get those kids out now 💔. Nigeria toothless lionesses, why are y’all silent? Speak up for these innocent kids 💔💔”
Naija News reports that suspected gunmen attacked two communities in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State on Friday, May 15, 2026.
During the attack, two people were killed, while several pupils and teachers were abducted.
Two days after the incident, one of the abducted teachers from Community High School, Ahoro Esinele, identified as Michael Oyedokun, was reportedly killed by the attackers in a video that later surfaced online.
