Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi Matthew says he is ready to defend himself in court over the controversy surrounding the Presidential Economic Advisory Council, and wants the judiciary to determine the merits of the allegations against him.
Speaking on Channels TV’s Politics Today, Adeyemi said he was not afraid of legal scrutiny and would accept whatever decision the court reaches after reviewing the facts.
“If I’m wrong, let the court of law do that, and if I’m right, let the court of law do the right thing,” he said.
He insisted that the matter should be resolved in court rather than through public speculation, adding that he was confident the judicial process would establish the truth.
His remarks come amid growing public attention on the presidential council scandal, with calls from various quarters for the matter to be fully resolved through legal means.
