Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Neche, has voluntarily withdrawn from the ongoing reality television show.
Neche, who was serving as Head of House for the week, broke the news to fellow housemates shortly after Sunday’s live eviction show.
She called the housemates together in the lounge and told them she had decided to exit the competition, though she gave no explanation for her decision.
Her announcement left several contestants visibly emotional. She proceeded to remove her microphone and name tag before heading to the diary room to formally conclude her exit.
Neche’s abrupt withdrawal has triggered mixed reactions among fans of the show, with some speculating that it could be a scripted twist or prank orchestrated by the organisers.
The 2026 edition of BBNaija, themed “Show Ya Sef,” kicked off on July 26 with 24 housemates competing for a record ₦160 million grand prize.
Martins and Mercedes were the first housemates evicted from the season, while Kamsy became the third contestant to exit the show following Sunday’s eviction.
