Former Edo state Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, is in gay mood. The reason for his happy state of mind is not far-fetched, it’s cause his resounding achievement as two term governor of the ancient Edo state is being appreciated by the first class Benin Monarch, Omo N’ oba N’ Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II.
The reverend first class monarch, hosted the former Governor to a grand reception on Friday at his Benin Palace. The event had in attendance Edo state Governor, Godwin Obaseki, Governor of Kebbi State, Sen. Abubakar Bagudu; Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal; Senate President, Bukola Saraki, who was represented by Mathew Urhoghide; Speaker of House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, represented by Hon. Pally Iriase, serving commissioners, captains of industry, traditional leaders, government functionaries and a host of others.
CITYSPY gathered that the Monarch showered encomium on the former Labour congress chief and Governor for his outstanding performance by bringing social economic development to the state. The Oba gifted Oshiomhole with a special bronze art-work to show appreciation on behalf of Edo state indigenes whom he has represented and governed well during his 8 years tenure.
