As prominent Nigerians continue to shine at the Sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, The Chairman Of Dangote Groups Of Company and Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, never failed to put his fathers land on the world map with his endearing philanthropist gestures.
It would be recalled that Dangote has been on the fore front of eradicating polio in Nigeria and Africa. His foundation along side Bill Gates foundation collaborated together by spending heavily to ensure a massive vaccination programme to ensure the eradication of the deadly disease in African children.
Dangote shined at the inauguration of the first Global Business Forum hosted by former Mayor of Newyork; Michel Bloomberg at the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. Also present at the inauguration were; former US President, Bill Clinton, French President, Emmanuel Macron, Apple CEO, Tim Cook, and Alibaba Chairman, Jack Ma, Bill Gates of Microsoft, Indra Nooyi of PepsiCo, Masayoshi Son of SoftBank, David Rubenstein, CEO of The Carlyle Group.
CITYSPY gathered that Dangote was applauded for his oratory prowess. He cited how Nigeria’s 130 million Mobile phone users and his Dangote groups of Company uses biometric data and mobile banking applications to target one million Nigerian women for small grants.
