Talking about one of the very few youths making positive waves in the country, then Abdulazeez Olajide Adediran popularly known as ‘Jandor’ strikes your mind. The ebullient lanky socialite and media mogul, is a suave dude with the mien of a gentle man laced with a kind heart. The CoreTv boss has showed his wizardry trait and sterling leadership qualities early in life. These were some the factors that contributed to his astronomical rise in the media jungle from being an ordinary reporter at the Lagos Television (LTV), to floating a big media outfit named Core Media Services. His midas touch of gold has made his Core Tv News and Core Media Services ranks high among its competitors with excellent content and juicy breaking news.
The Howard University graduate, has not relented in his quest to keep growing and impacting people around him, through his philanthropic works. He was said to have been donating heavily to the less privileged around him. His Core Media Service and CoreTV, which many saw as a fresh gust of summer wind in the media business, is gradually becoming a shadow of its old self. Sources said that; ”All is not fine with the media outfit as we speak. All the experienced hands that contributed to the astronomical rise of Core Tv have all left to join other platforms in search of a greener pastures. Jide was owing them backlogs of unpaid salaries. As we speak, Core Media is currently grasping for life like a sinking sailor.”
Another source told CITYSPY that; ”Jide is one employer who has poor welfare package for his staffs. You see him donating and spending fortune for people outside to create a good image for himself, whereas, he is not the real picture he is painting outside in the real sense. Jide at a time, was owing his staffs a year salary. He agreed to pay with a 50% slash, claiming there was no funds, alas, he was busy spending on unnecessary things, leaving his staffs to suffer in penury. The too pompous money bag, feel he is doing his staffs a favour by employing them. Top Core Tv staffs who fell victim of his lackadaisical behaviours and constant unpaid salary saga were; Nifemi Oguntoye, Brownson Uwana, Gift Oghete, Mercy Omoike, Debby Hope Ebadan, Frank Omalapeh, Mobolaji Alfred, Bright Chibuzor and lots more. They all left Core Tv as they can’t cope with working tirelessly and not getting paid.”
CITYSPY gathered from a close source that; ”As we speak, Jide is being positioned for a top political post in the nearest future. The question is; if he is elected for the said position, hope he won’t keep owing civil servants salaries? Only time will be the umpire.”
