Nollywood actress Juliana Olayode says no amount of money can make her kiss a man on screen, insisting even a ₦100 million offer would not shake her resolve.
Speaking in an interview with Tribune, the actress said her faith and personal convictions remain firmly non-negotiable, regardless of the financial stakes involved.
Olayode said the only man she would ever kiss in a movie is her real-life husband, ruling out any exception for the sake of a role.
“Even if you offer me ₦100 million, I won’t kiss any man in a movie. The only exception is if that man is my husband,” she said.
She explained that her position is rooted in her Christian beliefs and personal values, not in fear of public criticism or backlash. According to her, every actor has the right to set boundaries around what they are comfortable portraying on screen, and she respects colleagues who choose to take on romantic or intimate roles.
In a separate interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Olayode credited divine intervention for her restored relationship with senior colleague Funke Akindele.
She said she had prayed for years for their broken relationship to be repaired, adding that her prayers were never about working with Akindele again but simply about being on good terms and spending time together.
Olayode said Akindele stood by her during difficult times, which was part of why she pushed for reconciliation between them.
