The Presidency has announced a nationwide tour of project sites completed under President Bola Tinubu’s administration, describing the initiative as an opportunity to demonstrate the scale of transformation delivered across Nigeria’s 36 states.
Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga made the announcement Monday while briefing journalists alongside other senior media aides. He said the projects span critical sectors including infrastructure, human capital development, and economic growth, and that the tour is designed to allow Nigerians to verify the administration’s achievements firsthand.
“These projects cut across all sectors of the economy and are in all the states of the federation,” Onanuga said, adding that once the projects are unveiled, “it would be very clear to all that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has changed the landscape of Nigeria.”
Senior Special Assistant on Media Tunde Rahman said the media would shortly begin independently monitoring federal projects across the country, a move he said would help document efforts to improve citizens’ welfare and give Nigeria what he described as a new lease of life.
Officials from the health, transport, and information ministries also addressed journalists, outlining sectoral milestones. Health official Nasiru Mohammed pointed to a presidential initiative that has boosted local drug manufacturing, driven down medicine costs, and attracted interest from multinational pharmaceutical firms looking to invest in Nigeria.
On education, Information Ministry official Rabiu Musa highlighted the National Education Loans Fund, calling it an unprecedented scheme that has made financing available to Nigerian students pursuing higher education and eased financial pressure on families.
The Presidency said the various projects and reforms collectively reflect the administration’s commitment to delivering on campaign promises, and expressed confidence that ongoing initiatives will continue to produce measurable improvements in the lives of ordinary Nigerians.
