The producers of Big Brother Naija have signaled the imminent return of Nigeria’s most-watched reality television competition, with the announcement of Season 11 and auditions expected to open shortly.
A teaser post on the show’s official X account set social media ablaze with the cryptic message, “Biggie is calling. Are you ready to answer?” accompanied by a short video clip. The post confirmed, “It’s back. Auditions coming soon!”, sending fans into a frenzy of anticipation.
The announcement comes on the heels of a landmark Season 10, which debuted on July 26, 2025, bringing together 29 housemates all vying for a life-changing ₦150 million grand prize.
Season 10 was arguably the most format-heavy edition yet. The Head of House structure was revamped — Sundays determined temporary leadership, while a follow-up challenge on Mondays could overturn the result entirely. Any housemate who finished last in the challenge faced automatic nomination for eviction.
Producers also rolled out a series of bold new additions: the “Bag of Big Twists” handed power to the Head of House in unexpected ways, the infamous “red telephone” delivered surprise directives from Biggie to contestants at random, and the “Influential Player of the Week” title was introduced to reward and elevate strategic gameplay.
When the dust settled, Imisi Ayanwale claimed the crown with a commanding 42.8 percent of public votes, edging out a competitive final lineup that included Dede, Koyin, Sultana, Kola, Jason Jae, Mensan, Isabella, and Kaybobo. She now joins an elite roll call of BBNaija champions — among them Mercy Eke, Laycon, Whitemoney, Phyna, and Ilebaye.
As Season 11 builds momentum, the BBNaija fanbase is hungry for further details on audition schedules, entry requirements, and whatever fresh twists Biggie has up his sleeve for the new edition.
