In the outdoor media business, Ibitayo Araromi has paid his dues. No doubt his Chorus Technologies advertising platform has grown to an enviable height, leading in brand activation and visibility across the country with its numerous catchy billboards hitting the bullseye in the Nigerian transportation system. From operating on trains and in bus parks to giving free WiFi to passengers across the country, Ibitayo has carved a niche that is peculiar to him alone, making him a leading factor and a go-to agency for outdoor adverts.
The founder of Cowriwifi has yet again struck gold as he was awarded by Marketing Edge as the Edge Outstanding Transit Advertising Platform of the Year at the 23rd anniversary of the Marketing Edge publishing company. The award ceremony was held at the 10 Degrees Event Centre on Billings Way, Oregun, Lagos. Chorus Technologies won big at the award, and Ibitayo Araromi was also super excited that a platform he built with sheer hard work is being honoured with such an award.
The Ondo-born entrepreneur has disclosed that the award will further spur him to do more, as well as diversify and intensify his visibility in the advertising business. He is also planning to enter into a partnership that will ensure free WiFi is available for travellers on domestic airlines in Nigeria, to enhance connectivity and also enhance more visibility for his numerous clientele.
