The remains of the late wife of the former governor of Gombe state, Hajiya Yelwa Mohammed Danjuma Goje has arrived the country yesterday from the United States of America (USA) where she died penultimate Monday.
The family in a statement made public by Ahmad Mohammed Goje, said the corpse has arrived Nigeria set to be lowered below 6ft.
The funeral prayer has been fixed for today, Thursday by 2.pm, at the Emir’s Palace in Gombe state. Top Islamic clerics and other government functionary will converge to pay their last respect for the former Gombe state first lady.
The family postponed the burial on two different occasion. They were unable to secure a private chattered plane to convey her body back to Nigeria from the United States.
