Its was a moment of nostalgic and redolent memories as the 1977 graduating set of Queens College, Yaba celebrated their 40th year graduation anniversary and 90th year anniversary of their Alma mata.
The Queens college old girls 1977 graduating, held their dinner soiree on the 14th of October at the edifice of the prestigious Oriental Hotel Lekki. They all converged to celebrate their 40th anniversary. The event full of allure and panache had a large turnout as the 1977 class reunited several years after graduation. They reflected on their days as student of Queens college.
In attendance were their old class teachers of Music, English and French and Home Economics. They awarded them for their immense contribution to impacting them positively while they were students. The event kicked off with the school prayer and school anthem. Live band performance from ‘Kick Rhythm’ and traditional dancers from Akwaibom thrilled the teeming audience.

The attendee were impacted at an empowerment session by one of their class mate Mariam Uwais, S.A to the President on social protection plan. Mrs Michaele Matthew a life coach on financial advisory and legacy planning also dished out a mind blowing teaching on finance. The 1977 class president, Mrs Olulade Mosunmola thanked the class for their immense contribution to realizing the dinner. They had a minute silence for their classmate who lost their lives.

The event had the best of buffet as attendee savoured their taste buds. Accompanied with high supply of champagnes and other assorted drinks. The class had a raffle draw where lucky winners went home with mouth-watery prizes like; Creative frame Paintings, Gold cutleries, Swizz Lace, and many more consolation prizes.
They all had a toast as they cut their blue coloured gigantic anniversary cake. The event rounded off with a dance ball as every body showed their dancing dexterity. They were exited on the success of the event.
