According to sources within the ruling party in Ogun Central, some leaders and executives are being approached to endorse documents aimed at disqualifying Amosun from contesting for a Senate seat. The exercise is alleged to involve financial inducements, though not all party stakeholders are said to be in support of the move.
Several insiders suggest the development reflects ongoing political friction between Abiodun and Amosun, with concerns that a potential Senate comeback by the former governor could reshape the balance of influence in the state.
