Despite different tongue wagging and controversies trailing Imo state Governor, Rocha Okorocha, for erecting the statue of embattled South African President, Jacob Zuma who is currently facing numerous count charge for misappropriation of public funds, abuse of office among other charges file against him, Rochas was still able to gather the high and mighty in Nigeria for his book launch in celebration of his 55th birthday and his foundation 10th year anniversary .
The book titled ‘Rochas Revealed’ was written by former House of Rep member from Oyo State, Dr. Wale Okediran.
Amidst pomp and pageantry, the event was graced by top personality like; Former Nigeria President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, former Vice President Chief Alex Ekwueme, Ghana President Nana Akuffo Addo, Governor of Edo Godwin Obaseki and other top royal monarch from the Northern and Eastern part of Nigeria.
The book launch was also used to commission the 10th Anniversary of Rocha Foundation College of Africa. The foundation yearly, admits five children each from neighbouring African countries who do not have access good quality education. The foundation admit and train them at no cost.
CITYSPY gathered that the newly launched book is written towards motivating Nigeria children for a better future ahead and quest to pursue their lofty dreams without monetary constrain. The book reveals Rochas love for education and uplifting of the African children.
