Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Temi Nkem sparked a heated exchange in the house on Sunday after accusing her fellow contestants of failing to understand her English.
The clash broke out on the opening day of the “Show Ya Sef” edition, after Big Brother instructed one housemate to collect the week’s guidelines from the diary room and relay them to the rest of the house.
Temi Nkem, who is said to have studied in the United Kingdom, volunteered for the task. But when she returned to read out the instructions, several housemates struggled to follow her delivery, stalling the exercise and stirring tension in the house.
Visibly irritated, Temi Nkem turned on her housemates. “Are you children that you don’t understand English? How is it possible that you don’t understand English?” she asked.
The 21-year-old had earlier said she came into the BBNaija house with confidence and a clear strategy.
