Skit maker Samuel Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggi, has made his first social media post in months following his hospitalisation after a shooting incident on a film set.
Shaggi was injured in March while filming around the Sango Ota bridge area of Ogun State. He sustained a leg injury and was initially treated at a hospital in Alakuko, Lagos, before being moved to another facility in the Government Residential Area, Ikeja.
He had stayed off social media since the incident.
On Saturday, Shaggi returned to Instagram with a comic video captioned, “65 years of celibacy journey of no return.”
The post comes a day after he shared an emotional message on his WhatsApp channel, thanking fans for their support during his absence.
He admitted he had been unable to engage with his audience as much as he wanted, but said their loyalty carried him through the difficult period.
“To everyone who’s still here… waiting, checking in, showing love, and holding me down even through the silence, thank you,” Shaggi wrote. He added that fans’ continued presence, even during his silence, meant more to him than words could express.
