An Abuja High Court sitting in Apo has ordered the final forfeiture to the Federal Government of assets linked to businesswoman, Aisha Achimugu, valued at billions of naira.
The forfeited items include jewellery worth N4.645 billion, 11 exotic vehicles valued at N4.293 billion, $50,000 cash, and N30 million in cash.
Justice Jude Onwugbuzie granted the order on Thursday, July 16, 2026, while delivering judgment on an application by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) seeking the final forfeiture of the properties.
The ruling followed the anti-graft agency’s request that the assets be permanently forfeited to the government, after they had earlier been the subject of interim forfeiture proceedings.
Justice Onwugbuzie’s judgment brings the legal proceedings over the high-value personal effects and cash holdings to a close.
