
Weeks after former artiste, Danny Young called out pop songstress and mavin record signee, Tiwa Savage for using his lyrics without his consent, before going ahead to sue Her with a damage fee of N200Million. In that light, Popular songstress Queen Busola Oke with the sobriquet Eleyele, has also written through her lawyer Barr. Taiwo Onayinka to Y.A.G.I boss, Ololade Keshinro popularly known as Lilkesh for allegedly lifting her hit song of 2004, “Eleyele”, remixing it to his newly released song titled “Undertaker”.
According to Busola, Lilkesh and his team never reached out to her to seek her consent. She never granted Lilkesh the right to use her intellectual property which is protected by the copyright law. According to sources close to the light skinned gospel artiste, She is already planning to release the remix of the hit song due to public demand for her teeming fans.
The Ekiti state born singer has vowed to follow the pending issue to the very last stage, if Lilkesh does not meet her demands.
She divulged that; “Lilkesh underrated my capability, he feels that I can’t do anything. I am ready to press charges against him if he does not follow due process by meeting my demands within the stipulated time frame. I will make him see reasons why he must not toy with people like me. I don’t like my gentility being taken for granted”.
