When Abubakar Sanni Bello, the executive governor of Niger state got the ticket to contest as Governor in 2015, Ketso was appointed the Zonal Campaign Director-General. After Bello Clinched the ticket, Ketso was nominated to serve as his running mate as he was found as a trusted person who was religious and respectful. As providence will have it, they won the election with a landslide victory. Ever since Ketso resumed as Deputy Governor he enjoyed the good life. Things turned around for him drastically as he became a strong political force within the state. Sources averred that after the tenure of his boss in 2023, Ketso is also scheming to run as Governor of the state. “He is currently in talks with party chieftains and other members of the party to enable him to succeed Bello as the gubernatorial candidate for the next election.
Amidst rising issues of insecurity in the state, with numerous attacks from bandit and other series of school children kidnapping in his state, over the weekend the graduate of finance from the federal Polytechnic of Bida secretly tied nuptial knot with Ummulkhair; a ravishing beauty light-skinned Kano based Chadian Shuwa Arab lady. Sources averred that; Ketso and Ummulkhair have been in a relationship for years before Ketso thought of making it legal upgrading her as his wife. “They have been dating for quite a long while.
