
The chairman of Heirs holding and United Bank for Africa, (UBA), Tony Elumelu is in indeed a happy man. The soft spoken entrepreneur and Africapitalist preacher, has broken an impeccable record far away Newyork, the United States of America, yesterday the 6th of December, at a well attended dinner for world leaders as Tony becomes the only African to be awarded with the Dwight D. Eisenhower Global Entrepreneurship Award. He becomes the first African to bag the award since its 33years of existence. The progenitor of the award Dwight was the 34th President of the United states and top army general well respected across America.
The UBA chairman dedicated the award to his wife, The United Bank for Africa (UBA), Heirs Holding, Tony Elumelu foundation and to all African entrepreneurs. Tony has vowed to put more effort by placing Africa on the world map; thus, making it a better place by raising and mentoring more future leaders in business and philanthropy.
