Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has been named Footballer of the Year at the 72nd Annual Milliyet Sports Awards, one of Turkey’s top sporting accolades, cityspy reports.
The 27-year-old forward earned the honour after an exceptional season with Galatasaray, where he was instrumental in the club’s historic domestic double. Osimhen netted 37 goals and provided seven assists, helping Galatasaray capture both the Süper Lig title and the Turkish Cup.
