The popular saying, ‘A man’s talent will make him sit among kings’ captures the current situation for top Legal icon, Festus Adeniyi Keyamo (SAN), as he was hosted by his well-wishers for his impeccable land mark in his legal profession thus, as he was being conferred his long over due highest title of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), having qualified long time ago for the highly reverend title.
Last Sunday, he was hosted by friends and well wishers to a strictly by invite dinner party at the gigantic architectural masterpiece edifice of Civic Centre, Ozumba Mbadigwe, Lekki Lagos. Trust me, the well touch of yellow well decorated ambiance was alluring, full of sophistication. Invited guests filled the hall to the brim to witness the celebration of their friend, a jolly good fellow, who has fought tooth and nail for the defenceless in the society. He has also carved a niche for himself in the legal profession having served under the tutelage of his Late boss, Gani Fawehimi.
The well decorated hall of the event had in attendance, top socialite, political big wigs, captains of industries, top legal luminaries, and people from different walk of life. Keyamo, dressed in a black suit with a blue shirt, was seen all thru wearing a smiling face with a big portrait of him in his legal robes mounted at a strategic position on the stage.
He was exonerated and showered encomium by his 1992 graduating Law class mate of Ambrose Ali University in Ekpoma, Edo state. Keyamo was said to have be showing traits of excellence right from his undergraduate days where he represented his faculty and won several laurel as a student. The Alumni association of Ambrose Ali University were also present as they were happy for the great feat by the radical legal icon of our time.
He was awarded by the Association of Teachers Pensioners for his immense contributions which aided the payment of their pensions. Keyamo was also award a record breaker as the first SAN from his home town as said by the traditional ruler.
The well attended event entered a merry mode as there was enough supply of sumptuous meal and high cost liquors. Music act, Harrysongz never failed to dazzle as the ‘RaggeBlues’ Crooner never failed to light up the ambiance with his stage performance as the celebrant danced in an elated mood as he shows his other fun loving side with his dance skills.
