For Princess Toyin Kolade, living an impactful life for humanity has always been something she is known for. With her God-given wealth, she has used it for the upliftment of humanity but she does not even make noise about it. During her formative years, she is a known businesswoman who loves buying and selling with her late mother back in Ilesa Osun state. If a soothsayer had told her that she was going to be conferred with the highly revered title as the Iyalaje Oodua years ago, the Head honcho of Fisolak Global Resource would have argued vehemently. As providence would have it, the Arole Oodua, HIM Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi announced that the philanthropist would be conferred with the title as first Iyalaje Oodua (head of Commerce, Trade and industry) across Yoruba race. When the news came, it came as a big shock to her as she never envisaged that she is worthy of such high honour. With good faith, she accepted and on the 17th of July 2021, she converged those who matter most from the nooks and crannies of Nigeria to the cradle of Yoruba Race Ile-Ife for the grand installation ceremony as the Iyalaje-Oodua. It was a day with a massive display of poise, allure, pomp and grand opulence.
Entering into the ancient city Ile-Ife, you would be welcomed with a view of billboards littered around town with her face on it. The bubbling town of Ile-Ife witnessed growth in trade and commerce as it recorded a massive inflow of cash and massive patronage. Top Monarchs, Business Magnates, Politicians, Socialites and Money bags gathered at the well-decorated newly launched Ife Grand Resort hall where they were serenaded with a musical rendition from the King of Fuji Music King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, Small Doctor and Qdot. DJ Neptune was also on the turntable cheering the youthful crowd with music as Gbenga Adeyinka hosted the event. Her entry into the hall was grand as she was flanked by her hubby Kayode Kolade and her children looking elegant wearing an endearing smile looking surprised to see the mammoth crowd gathered for her.
Trust Princess Toyin when it comes to hosting parties, her hospitality acumen is second to none. There was an endless supply of the finest Champagnes, Cognacs, exotic wines and other assorted drinks. To savor the taste buds of guests, there was also a lavish supply of continental and local dishes with enough finger foods. Everyone present had one thing or the other to munch on as they also went home with gifts items.
