The First Lady of Ogun State, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun, is currently basking in the seventh heaven of joy, much like a woman who has just welcomed a newborn. Her happiness knows no bounds and she danced with abandon, much like David of old, during her 60th birthday celebration. Her journey through life has had its share of bittersweet moments, yet she has chosen to embrace the goodness of life and celebrate its blessings, which is why she held nothing back at the celebratory soirée held last week in Lagos.
It was a gathering of Nigeria’s political heavyweights, business moguls, royal monarchs and socialites, all converging to honor the Ogun State First Lady. Initially slated to hold in Iperu, Ogun State, a last-minute change of plans moved the venue to the Royal Box Event Centre in Victoria Island, where the soirée took place. The atmosphere was colorful and vibrant, filled with laughter, dancing and an abundance of food and drinks. The Abiodun’s are renowned for their top-notch hospitality and flair for hosting memorable events and the Governor spared no expense to ensure the day was unforgettable for his beloved wife.
The highlight of the evening came when the celebrant and Governor Dapo Abiodun took to the dance floor together, swept up in the celebratory mood. They dazzled guests with their dance steps, moving gracefully to the rhythmic beats spun by the DJ.
Bamidele Abiodun will forever remain grateful to her Creator for the precious gift of life and for the good health that allowed her to celebrate this golden milestone surrounded by her loved ones.
