The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed a roster of top entertainers to its Entertainment and Creative Economy Directorate as part of preparations for the 2027 elections.
Veteran actor Jide Kosoko, actresses Eniola Badmus, Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi and Bimbo Akintola, along with Fuji stars Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Abass Akande Obesere and Adewale Ayuba, are among 33 names listed in the directorate.
The council was announced on Thursday by the Kadri Obafemi Hamzat Media Centre, with formal inauguration set for Friday, September 18, 2026, at the APC Secretariat on ACME Road, Ikeja.
Toke Benson-Awoyinka heads the directorate as Director, with Kosoko as Co-Director and Badmus as Deputy Director. Akeem Alimi (Ajala Jalingo) was named Secretary, and Dare Olateju will serve as Assistant Secretary.
Other prominent members include veteran actors Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello), Saheed Balogun, Bukky Wright, Fathia Balogun, Yinka Quadri and Tayo Sobola, alongside Abiola Adebayo, Remi Oshodi, Foluke Daramola, Kikelomo Balogun, Bopo Oyekan Ismaila, Rasaq Yusuf, Aderinola Philips, Olamide Maja and Abbey Lanre.
Musicians on the list include Sulaimon Alao Adekunle (Malaika), Akorede Babatunde Okunola (Osupa), Temitope Adekunle (Small Doctor), Sule Adiro Ataweye, Yemisi Falaye, Leke Babatunde Akinrowo, Kayode Fahm and Aruna Ishola.

The Entertainment and Creative Economy Directorate is one of several structures within the Lagos APC campaign council, which also includes other directorates and sub-committees ahead of the 2027 polls.
