Despite being a successful businessman with interests across many sectors, Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi, the senator representing Osun Central in the hallowed red chambers, delved into politics by obeying the clarion call of his people. He is a man who loves to live a quiet life but also loves to impact his immediate society without making a fuss about it. This is why his people saw him as a savior when they urged him to throw his hat in the ring and contest for the Senate to ensure quality representation and enable them to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
After heeding this call, he was voted in massively and elected. Ever since he has been in the Senate chambers, he has never failed his people. Under his watch, he has sponsored life-changing bills, facilitated constituency projects that affect the masses and ensured that the people of Osun Central have a voice to be reckoned with in the Senate chambers.
Despite loathing media attention, his good works have always put him in the cynosure of all eyes. The Ajagunla Oodua has never failed to ensure his people enjoy the reason he was voted into office. A few months ago, he was applauded for his giant strides in education, especially with the completion of the ICT centre at Muslim Grammar School in Osogbo in collaboration with the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC). He also ensured the supply of laboratory materials for the enhanced educational development of Oyan Grammar School and Abolarin College, Oke-Ila, in Osun State. He has also distributed bursary awards running into millions of Naira to deserving students many of which demonstrate his commitment to educational development within his senatorial district.
While many calls have been made for the renewal of his mandate in the Red Chamber by his people, Senator Biyi has further heeded the call to return to the Red Chambers, with many of his constituents throwing their weight behind him to ensure his re-election.
Sources say that before the end of the year, he is planning a mega empowerment session where he would dole out largesse the product of his representation to his constituents. He would also support businesses and give support to local entrepreneurs with items to help establish them and ensure self-sustainability. We
