Nigeria’s confirmed Ebola patient is expected to be evacuated from Abuja to another country for further medical treatment on Monday, October 26, 2026.
According to a report by Arise TV, arrangements have been made to transport the 42-year-old woman out of Nigeria for specialised medical care.
A source disclosed that the evacuation was scheduled for 6:00 a.m. on Monday, adding that a medical evacuation aircraft was already at the airport waiting for the patient.
The planned evacuation comes as health authorities continue to monitor the Ebola situation and strengthen measures to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.
However, further details about the destination of the evacuation flight, the patient’s current health condition and the medical facility expected to receive her have not been disclosed.
More information is expected to emerge as authorities continue to manage the case and provide updates on the country’s response to the Ebola outbreak.
