The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has celebrated his wife, Pastor Foluke Adeboye, as she marked her 78th birthday, describing her as his closest companion and a steady partner in life and ministry.
In a tribute titled “To My Lover, Foluke,” posted on his X account, the 84-year-old clergyman looked back on 58 years of marriage, thanking her for her constant support through their family life and ministerial journey.
“Great has been the journey of walking side by side with you,” he wrote. “Today, on your 78th birthday, is a gift to me, to have the world join me in doing what I have spent 58 years doing: celebrating you.”
Adeboye said her presence had made his life’s work lighter to bear, describing their union as one guided by divine purpose over the decades.
While millions of RCCG members know her as “Mummy G.O.,” Adeboye said he cherishes the privilege of knowing her simply as his wife and friend, crediting her sacrifice and faith for shaping their children, the church, and many families.
“Our children have been blessed because of your love. The family of God has been blessed because of your devotion,” he said.
The cleric prayed for continued strength, peace, and fruitfulness in her life, thanking God for her 78 years and the 58 they have shared as a couple.
“You have been wife, counsel, and companion in every sense the word was ever meant to hold,” he wrote. “Thank you for walking hand in hand with me. Happy 78th birthday, my love.”
Adeboye and his wife got married in 1967 and are blessed with four children.
