The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi, has officially declared the commencement of his campaign for the 2027 presidential election.
The former Anambra State Governor disclosed this at a press briefing held on Friday morning.
Obi stated that his campaign would centre on the pressing concerns of ordinary Nigerians, stressing that it would not be built around ethnic or religious sentiments.
The NDC flagbearer is running alongside his running mate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, as the party positions itself ahead of the 2027 general election.
More details are still emerging from the briefing.
