If there is one mother-and-daughter bond that is always a sight to behold, it is that of Senator Oluremi Tinubu, First Lady of Nigeria and Barr. Chioma Uzodimma First Lady of Imo State. Their camaraderie and filial relationship is a delight to many, with observers and even Firstladies often envying their closeness. The duo are always a picture of grace, as Senator Tinubu respects Chioma not only for her composure, poise and elegance but also for being a mother to the people of Imo State.
They share similar traits; compassion, care and the protective instinct of a mother hen guarding its chicks, which is why Senator Oluremi regards Chioma as a daughter and always includes her in her entourage. Many are also thrilled that Senator Tinubu loves to visit Imo State and whenever she does, she is always excited not only because of the First Lady but because she genuinely loves the state dearly. Since assuming office as First Lady of Nigeria, she has often visited the state as though it were her own, doling out largesse to women there and supporting them wholeheartedly.
Many even argue that the bond they share cannot be fully comprehended, as they reportedly speak on the phone almost daily. To further buttress the point, after Senator Tinubu attended several August Meetings in Imo State, she visited again this week to empower Imo women with money, items and other forms of support. During her speech, she indeed declared that she is also from Imo because her daughter Chioma, in whom she is well pleased, is from there. She was also given a
traditional title “Oso Di Eme 1” in Imo State.
