Shina Adisa Peller’s name is synonymous with lifestyle, luxury and nightlife expertise. He excelled in various industries, including entertainment, hospitality and oil and gas, before venturing into politics. As the Chairman of Aquilla Groups, he was highly regarded in the entertainment scene, particularly for his upscale nightclub Quilox, located on Ozumba Mbadigwe Way in Victoria Island, Lagos. Quilox became a premier destination for those seeking a luxurious nightlife experience, attracting celebrities, high-net-worth individuals, and socialites from across Lagos and beyond. For many years, it remained a hotspot, but his full transition into politics in 2018-2019 coincided with a decline in its influence.
In 2019, Peller contested and won a seat in the Nigerian House of Representatives, representing the Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola, and Iwajowa Federal Constituency, which covers parts of Oke-Ogun in Oyo State. His election marked the beginning of his political career, during which he became known as a vocal advocate for youth rights and justice.
