Yoruba Nollywood actress, Tayo Odueke, popularly known as Sikiratu Sindodo, has said she regrets making her romantic relationship with National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) boss, Musiliu Akinsanya, widely known as MC Oluomo, public.
The actress spoke during an interview with Oyinmomo TV on YouTube, where she admitted that keeping certain matters private would have served her better.
Asked what led to their split, Sindodo declined to give details, saying only that it was a complicated story she preferred not to revisit.
She explained that she went public with the relationship at the time because Oluomo treated her well, but looking back, she believes the decision cost her more than it was worth.
“Normally, if you’re married to someone, people will eventually find out. Back then, I didn’t care and didn’t see any reason to hide it,” she said. “Sometimes it’s better to keep things private. I envy my colleagues who’ve kept their relationships out of the public eye. I regret announcing my relationship with Alhaji MC Oluomo — it wasn’t worth it. He was very good to me and treated me well, which is why I made his name public. But I shouldn’t have.”
