For over four months now, consummate Business woman Iyalaje Oodua; Princess Toyin Kolade has not been in the best of moods after his only elder sibling; Hon. Prince Adesoji Aderopo Adejuyigbe with the moniker SOJ bid this sinful world farewell on the 7th of April 2023 at age 71. When the news broke, she was thrown into a state of mourning crying profusely. Much later, she finally came to the conclusion that; the creator giveth and he taketh at will so she did everything humanely possible to give the deceased a former Vice Chairman Ilesha West LGA and Peoples Democratic Party chieftain a befitting burial in his hometown Ilesha, Osun state.
On the 17th of August, a service of song was held on his behalf where family, friends and well-wishers converged to pay their last tribute to the grass root politician who has affected the lives of those around him positively. At the service of songs, eulogies were poured on the deceased on a life well spent and those he has affected their lives in a positive way could not stop crying knowing fully well that their benefactor will no longer be seen in body and flesh. Princess Kolade also reeled out redolent memories of their formative years and how they both share close bonds while she was growing. She also ascribed to the fact that the deceased played a pivotal role like a father in her life since the demise of their biological father.
On Friday the 18th of April; the deceased was laid to rest in his home while Princess Toyin ensured the best of vendors were employed to treat those who attended to royalty. There was an array of sumptuous meals for those who converged at the Tadash Event Centre Ilesha where the grand soiree happened. Faith Band never failed to serenade guests with sonorous songs. With the attendance of businessmen and top monarchs; Princess Kolade spared no cost to make sure his elder brother was celebrated to the high heavens. She made provisions for costly meals, finger foods and high-cost drinks that were in circulation. She never failed to display her dexterity in hosting top soirees she ensured hospitality was top-notch amidst all other logistics that were sorted. The whole Ilesha felt the soiree to its roots as a mammoth crowd converged to celebrate her elder siblings even in death.
