American rapper Nicki Minaj has opened up on why she no longer attends church regularly, revealing that her hectic music career left little room for Sunday worship.
She made this known during a recent appearance on The Bryce Crawford podcast.
the 43-year-old rapper said her demanding performance schedule, particularly shows on Friday and Saturday nights, made it difficult to wake up for church on Sunday mornings.
Nicki clarified that her absence from church was not a sign of waning faith or a change in her beliefs, but simply a result of her tight work schedule as an entertainer.
She maintained that she still believes in God and continues to nurture a personal relationship with Him, describing her spiritual journey as one she is still working on.
In her words: “I stopped going to church when my career started taking off because I was always working on Friday and Saturday nights, and Sunday mornings became difficult, but I still believe in God, I have a relationship with Him, and I’m trying to stay consistent even though it’s not always easy.”
