Chief Adebola Gbadesere Alabi Dosumu, the Olorogun Adodo and Akinshiku of Lagos, is well known within the Lagos social circuit. Very well respected and jovial, he commands respect among the who is who in Lagos. Earlier this year, when he was officially installed as the Olorogun Adodo First Akarigbere Royal Class of the Lagos Monarchy in January, it was a convergence that witnessed culture, tradition, and much aura. The event was well attended, and the news spread across the country like wildfire. After his installation, he was mandated to stay in seclusion for three months, staying off social functions, which he did. He officially came out last week, where he threw the mother of all soirees in Lagos to celebrate his grand installation. It was a soiree that won’t be forgotten in a hurry.
The who is who in Lagos came out to support him, as he is also known for supporting others during their own functions with his presence. Friends and family rallied round him as they converged at the Federal Palace Hotel, Bamoral Hall in Victoria Island, Lagos. It was a gathering like a galaxy of stars, as the whole hall was filled to the brim. Fuji maestro KWAM1 was also on the band stand to thrill guests, as top monarchs, captains of industries, socialites, and politicians also attended. The lanky, light-skinned celebrant was seen around ensuring that his friends were treated to royalty with an endless supply of high-cost drinks and meals. It was a nostalgic moment as many Lagos Islanders reconnected to rekindle fond memories. The blue-themed event was classy and regal, and those who attended will never forget it in a hurry.
